After reading Outlander, I wanted a man in a kilt to come whisk me away. Mel will do, nicely. I altered this cartoon slightly - you can see the original here.

So what is it about a man in a kilt anyway? I don't know, but I can't think of too many things more appealing than an attractive man in a kilt. Then again, the kilt's appeal could rest on the fact that we all know what's under them (which is, if they're worn properly, nothing).

Contestant number one is my dad. No, really. This was taken in 1967. Dad is wearing the Highland High School Band uniform (Cowiche, WA.) Even if he is my dad, I can attest to the fact he has verra bonny knees.

Contestant number two is Mel Gibson. OK, even I wouldn't vote for my dad now.

Liam Neeson is contestant number three. He wears the costume from his title role in Rob Roy
.

Contestant number four is Brian McCardie, who co-stars with Liam Neeson in Rob Roy.

Sean Connery is contestant five. He appeared in his kilt at the opening of the Scottish Parliament.

David Duchovny, why don't you love me? All kidding aside, he looks kind of goofy in the hat, but I like the rest. Oh, and he is contestant number six.

Contestant number seven is Ewan McGregor, the laddie wi' the most Scottish soundin' name of the lot!

Don't know the name of contestant number eight. We'll just call him the Lawson ad guy.

You can't see contestant number nine's face, but who really needs to?

The Tommy Tartan Boys are contestant(s) number 10.
